This part of the term has flown by. The pupils have once again been very busy with their learning and taking part in additional activities too.

Just a few things that have happened this half term are that our pupils performed at the O2, Year 6 visited the Horniman Museum and we have launched our newly refurbished library. All of the children now spend time in the library each week. They have told me that they love going in there to read and share their favourite books as well as exploring new books.

This week we had an excellent performance from Year 5 on the theme of e-safety. We were very pleased that the Local Authority E-Safety Officer was also able to come into school and talk to our Year 5 parents and carers. This is such an important issue and as a school we are committed to ensuring that all of our pupils stay safe online. Please look at the school website for important information and links to helpful websites about this subject.

I hope you all have an enjoyable half term break whatever the weather!

We look forward to seeing all the children back in school on Monday 24th February.

Best wishes

Ms Bretherick
