We got off to a great start last week – it was lovely to welcome the children back after the half term break.
Thank you to all of the parents and children who helped out with our garden project last Saturday. I am very grateful to everyone who helped with the digging, clearing, pulling up weeds and putting in the foundations for the new pond. We made a fantastic a start and I know the garden and pond will look fabulous when it is finished. Look out for more information about the next stage. Your continuing support is always very welcome.
Thank you to those of you who have returned your survey. We welcome your views and comments so please do return your survey if you still haven’t done so. The deadline is the end of this week.
Scoot to school
We want as many children as possible to ‘scoot to school’ this Wednesday.
Scooting to school is growing in popularity; for the children it’s a fun, fast way to get here. It’s also a great way to get children more active and is a great sustainable solution rather than to coming to school by car. We are keen to encourage the children to do so. On Wednesday the class teachers will be doing a count of how many scoot to school.
Year 5 Transition meeting
The meeting takes place this Thursday [13th June] at 6 pm. The meeting will give important information about pupils’ transition to secondary school. Please make sure that if you have a son or daughter in Y5 you attend.
