‘If you think you can, or if you think you can’t, you are right.’
This morning, in my assembly, I talked to the children about being determined, believing in themselves and, as George in Year 6 said, “having a positive mentality”.
I spoke to the children about how important it is to never give up. Maybe they can tell you about the examples I showed them where people did not give up. Here are 3 clues: football, Mount Kilamanjaro, child genius.
Hopefully the examples I shared inspired the children to have the willpower and self confidence to challenge themselves and to do their very best.
We want all the pupils to say to themselves “I can…”. Ask your child to tell you what they achieved today.
